Free Website Audits for Charities and Non-Profits
A charity that runs on goodwill shouldn’t have to guess whether its website is fit for purpose. Ours is free.
Charities under one million pounds turnover rarely have the budget to commission a paid audit, and they’re the ones most likely to be running a site that’s three platforms behind, struggling on mobile, or losing donors at the last step. We do a free, written, prioritised audit for any UK-registered charity or community interest company. There’s no expectation that you’ll work with us afterwards. The audit is yours to keep, share with trustees, and act on however you can.
What’s in the audit
- Technical health: load speed, mobile usability, broken links, security headers, hosting.
- Search visibility: how your site ranks for the terms that matter, plus the gap to where it should rank.
- Accessibility: WCAG 2.2 level checks, with the ones that matter most flagged.
- Conversion paths: donation, volunteer, contact, sign-up, newsletter.
- Content: plain English, structure, the bits that confuse readers.
- Analytics: whether your tracking actually tells you anything useful.
- You get a written report, scored, with a one-page summary your board can read in five minutes.
What it doesn’t include
Implementation. The audit is the diagnosis. If you want our help with the treatment, we’ll quote separately at our charity rate. If you want to hand the report to a volunteer or another agency, that’s fine. Many do.

We turn audits round in two to three weeks. If your need is more urgent, say so on the form.
